Brandon is the founder and chairman of Steiner Sports Marketing, the largest company of its kind in America. Its inventory of collectibles includes more than 10,000 items and the company currently maintains relationships with over 5,000 professional athletes of today and yesteryear from virtually every sport. Once a one-man shop, Steiner Sports has grown into a booming, 100-plus employee, $50 million enterprise.

Steiner Sports Marketing is firmly entrenched as a leader in the marketing industry and Steiner himself has developed into a bona fide sports marketing guru. Brandon has become a permanent fixture in the media and is a regular on ESPN Radio 1050 on Sunday mornings, along with his co-hosting duties on Yankees-Steiner: Memories of the Game which is prominently featured on the YES Network.

Brandon is commonly utilized as an expert commentator on all issues involving sports and is regularly featured on national news networks including CNBC, CNN, MSNBC, ESPN and in newspapers such as The New York Times and The Wall Street Journal. In 2003, Brandon published his first book, The Business Playbook: Leadership Lessons from the World of Sports. The Business Playbook was supported by a national book tour which brought Brandon to guest lecture at some of the top business schools in the country including: The Harvard Business School, The Kellogg School of Business, Columbia and Yale among others. Brandon’s motivational speaking engagements have put him in front of Fortune 500 companies ranging from hotel chains to real estate companies and he is often the featured guest speaker at trade conventions.

Brandon works closely with corporations to align them with athletes who can promote their products. He maintains relationships with hundreds of current and former professional athletes. One of Steiner's newest concepts is Last Licks Ice Cream Stores which features its own unique brand of ice cream along with holding public athlete appearances. "We like to say that Last Licks is 'The Sports Bar for Kids'," explains Steiner. "It's a place for Little League teams to come after the game, watch sports, eat ice cream and just be kids. The only catch is that you might bump into any star from Magic Johnson to Mia Hamm."

Last Licks currently has five different locations and two more are scheduled to open shortly.

But maybe Brandon's biggest home run to date is a partnership with the New York Yankees. In 2004, he announced the launch of an unprecedented partnership, Yankees-Steiner Collectibles, to provide fans with access to Yankees memorabilia and experiences at Yankee Stadium. In short, Brandon has figured out how to bring the fan closer to the game.

This partnership proved to be hugely successful as Steiner launched another company in 2006, this time with the New York Mets. Whether it's a jersey worn in a game, a broken bat or a cap worn during the season, pre-game dugout visits, or fantasy baseball clinics, the newly launched Mets-Steiner Collectibles company has taken off and the timing couldn't be better as the Mets have pulled ahead with a comfortable lead to be the #1 team in the NL East.

A graduate of the Martin J. Whitman School of Management from Syracuse in 1981, Brandon still enjoys rooting for the Orangemen during the NCAA tournament and playing basketball with friends. Brandon also helped cultivate Syracuse-Steiner, a program where Syracuse students play a part in actually running the company. He devotes his time to several charities including sitting on the board of Camp Sussex (a camp for underprivileged children) as well as Family Services of Westchester which helps to provide quality social and mental health services to strengthen families, children and individuals which just recently opened up a home for boys. Brandon’s latest endeavor is the opening of Mo’s Steakhouse, a restaurant in New Rochelle where he is a partner with Yankees future Hall of Fame closer Mariano Rivera. Brandon resides in Scarsdale, New York with his wife Mara and his two children.
