When Brandon Steiner graduated from Syracuse University in 1981, he could never have predicted this day would come. Now, nearly 30 years later, Steiner is sitting in Yankee Stadium watching Syracuse compete in the Pinstripe Bowl. It's a unique circumstance for Steiner, who enjoys seeing his name on the marquee of two standout brands: Yankees-Steiner Collectibles and Syracuse-Steiner Collectibles. His company, Steiner Sports, has the exclusive rights to game-used collectibles for each team, and offers sports gifts such as game-used jerseys, balis, and other equipment to private collectors and fans.

"This is a dream come true: says Steiner. "As much as I love watching 'Cuse in the Carrier Dome, you just can't beat Yankee Stadium.

Steiner is not alone there. Syracuse Head Coach, Doug Marrone, also understands the significance of this moment. Im going back to my roots and playing in Yankee Stadium" crowed the Bronx native. Marrone left Syracuse in 1985 to play pro football and is delighted to be at the helm. "It's like an extension of my dream to be head football coach at Syracuse. What could be better than SU Football playing in the inaugural Pinstripe Bowl in my home town?"

The two alumni have crossed paths numerous times since their days on campus, and Syracuse-Steiner is the culmination of that relationship. Syracuse-Steiner Collectibles has an extensive product line that directly reflects Brandon Steiner's love for 'Cuse, and Coach Marrone's appreciation for Sports Gifts and Collectibles. "Each item is a little bit of SU history: said Marrone. "I think fans appreciate being able to take ownership of their team, and holding onto a game used item is one way to do that."

Syracuse·Steiner's gift options include footballs used in-game, signed by Coach Marrone. "A game-used football has actually been in the trenches with the team; he said. "The players' sweat equity is on the ball. It almost gives you the feeling you took part in the game: "Steiner and SU have a great relationship," he continued. "Because of Brandon Steiner's personal relationship with the University- he's an SU grad-he has earned the utmost respect and trust."
