Brandon's relationship with the Twin Tower Fund
Steiner Sports Marketing and the Twin Towers Fund announced today that former New York City Mayor Rudolph W. Giuliani, Chairman of the Board of the Twin Towers Fund and New York Yankees Manager Joe Torre will sign a limited number of commemorative memorabilia to raise funds that will provide financial assistance to 436 families (including 789 children) of rescue workers who perished on September 11.
"I want to thank Joe Torre for once again stepping up to the plate to help the families of our fallen heroes, " said Giuliani. "With the expertise of Steiner Sports, I am sure this project will raise significant funds to benefit the families of those rescue workers who made the ultimate sacrifice in our fight for freedom."
All proceeds beyond the hard cost of the baseballs and photos will be donated to the fund. Major League Baseball will have a representative on hand to authenticate the process.
"This partnership allows Steiner Sports to be involved and to generate important funds for the families of rescue workers lost on 9/11," said Brandon Steiner, President of Steiner Sports. This memorabilia is about more than just collecting it gives people something uplifting and inspiring, it captures the comeback of New York City. Both of these individuals have been key figures in NYC's revitalization and Steiner Sports is proud to be associated with both of them."
