Brandon Steiner grew up in Brooklyn. His first job was at a neighborhood fruit stand. Later, he was a paperboy, delivering the New York Daily News.
His mother's favorite phrase was "You gotta have balls.''
His mother's words provided the basis of Steiner's approach to life and business. He attended Syracuse University and graduated in 1981.
Today, Steiner is the CEO of Steiner Sports Marketing. He's turned Steiner Sports Collectibles into a million dollar business.
In his new book, "You Gotta Have Balls: How a Kid from Brooklyn Started From Scratch, Bought Yankee Stadium, and Created a Sports Empire,'' Steiner shares his experiences and his philosophy toward business.
