Continuing on my theme this week of leadership, here's a short clip from when I interviewed Bill Parcells. He’s a Hall of Famer and widely regarded as one of the premier coaching minds in all of American sports- Bill is someone I’ve gotten to learn so much from and a few years back I had the opportunity to sit down with him to learn about competitiveness and trust, as well as some fun tidbits about his time coaching in the NFL.
One of my key takeaways is that "players" deserve a chance to win. You can apply this to anyone, not just a football team. As a leader and someone with decision making power, it's your responsibility to set the stage of success to ensure that the people you are guiding have an opportunity to win.
