Podcast: Boxing Great Gerry Cooney

by Brandon Steiner September 06, 2016 0 Comments

In this edition of the "What Else?" podcast, I interview an old friend of mine--somebody that I go back over 30 years with--boxing great Gerry Cooney.

Gerry was a great boxer and is a true humanitarian. In this podcast we talk about his true feelings about Don King, his biggest regret about his infamous fight with Larry Holmes and his amazing work at Youth Consultation Services, YCS.

Gerry Cooney with YCS Children

Through YCS, he is able to give hope and skills to underprivileged kids, and to the next generation of boxers. For more information on YCS, please visit www.ycs.org.
