Last summer I had the pleasure of doing something very special for a group of children at a local elementary school in the Bronx as part of The Hook-Up.
I was joined by Olympic champion and track and field icon Jackie Joyner-Kersee and Modell’s Sporting Goods to hook-up the kids in their track and field program with gear and also a very special clinic with Jackie.
This is one of my favorite moments of the year. This time of the year I like to set a goal for 2017. One of those goals is to complete remaking this school's track.
This is a day that I will remember forever. Having an opportunity to light-up a young child’s face and give them a memory that will last a lifetime is one of the most special I can think of and it’s a feeling that never gets old. Watch it all happen:
