Recreate the Why

Recreate the Why

When did you do something for the first time and how great was the feeling?

First job, first date, first kiss, first sale, first…everything! How do you recreate that feeling?

A lot of times when I meet a player I try to think that it’s the first time I’m meeting them.

How do you keep the relationship or the situation you’re in fresh. In a way you have to think back to the “first time mindset.” After you’ve been married for 30 years, how do you keep things fresh with your spouse?

It’s the same thing with your job. You can’t afford to get numb. You have to remind yourself of all the reasons why you love that job, or that game, or that team.

When you recreate the why anything in your life will feel like the first time.
